How Do I Set Icons for My Contacts on the LG Vortex Android Phone

April 19, 2020 by Meghan No Comments

You can take any photo and set it as a contact icon on your LG Vortex Android Phone. This is the photo that you will see when that particular person calls. This is a cool feature to have and it is easy to do. In this guide, I will walk you through setting icons for your contacts on your LG Vortex Android Phone. To get started with this guide, you will need the photos you want to use. If you don’t have them on your phone, but have them on your PC, you will need to transfer them to your phone.

The next thing you will need to do is open your photo gallery. You can open it from your Applications menu. Once your gallery is opened, you can find the group that your photo is in and click it. From there, you will need to find the photo that you want to use and click it to bring it to full size.

Once the photo is opened, tap somewhere on the screen to load the bottom menu. Find the Menu button and tap it with your finger to switch it to the More button. Once the More button appears, you can tap it to bring up the other menu.

In this other menu, you will need to find the Set As option and tap it to open it. Now locate the Contact Icon option in the box that popped up and tap it with your finger. After tapping that option, you are going to see a list of your contacts. Use your finger to scroll through the contacts and find the person you want to assign that icon to. Once you find the contact, tap their name.

Now the crop box will appear over the photo. Adjust this box over the part of the photo you want to keep. When you have the part you want to keep in the box, tap the Save button. That will then apply the icon to the contact you chose. You can now go back and assign more icons to your other contacts.
